Born - Malawi, Africa

I was transplanted to Glasgow, Scotland where I spent my early years in private school, feeling like an idiot in a uniform that wasn't made cool by Angus Young yet. My days were taken up by everything soccer, and trains, but I was still too young to appreciate the great music there at the time.

My family moved to Vancouver In 1976 where the rock and roll bug bit me. Bands like Aerosmith, Deep Purple and Van Halen totally blew my mind. I new exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up..... Steve Tyler ! That didn't work out as well as I thought (kids huh!) My first year of high school is when I discovered the drums, and great drummers like Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart and Tommy Aldridge. The rest is as they say "History".

I have worked with many gifted people in the music biz, including... Howard Rix (The Scramblers), George Criston (Kick Axe, Criston/Harvey), Bif Naked, Avril Lavigne, and of course all the boys in Barcode.

Come down to the Bar None on a Friday night, and check out what the buzz is about. "Big Bad and Beefy" Indeed!
